Spider Solitaire
Spider Solitaire comes in many variations and for sure you know them as Klondike, Patience, Free Cell etc. etc. With Solitaire you the player needs to create 8 stacks of cards (king-through-ace). After adding a card to 10 rows you can start adding cards on top of each row. All the way till your cards are finished.

Spider Solitaire can be played in many variations online and for money too. One Suit Spider Solitaire is played with only one suite, the Spades. Since this is a one suite game you are allowed to place cards of the same suite on top of others but don’t forget they need to be in ascending order.

Klondike
Klondike is most probably one of the versions that is know by many players as Solitaire. However there are so many games that until today history has still not proven whether, Klondike, Patience or Solitaire are true different games or just variations of one game.

Like Solitaire, Klondike is a card-game that is played by ordering cards in stacks. The aim of the game is to end up with four stacks (each of one different suite) in descending order.

Patience
Freecell
Free cell Solitaire is another card-game in the series of Solitaire. Again aiming to stacks for equal rows of cards (suite by suite) and finish the game by ordering descending. If you mange to “play” all 52 cards you are the winner of Free Cell.

As the story goes every game of Free Cell can be finished. Are you able to win every time?!

Patience
Now
Patience is the UK version of Solitaire. Basically the only difference is the name of the game but game rules and card decks are the same. All four suites need to be stacked up in the right order. The winner ends up “empty handed” (as in no cards to play left) and four nice stacks of cards are lined up.

How to Play Solitaire

A game of casino Solitaire, or real money Patience, is played similar to a game of solitaire. In fact, there isn’t almost any difference from the solitaire games played in the US or the one found pre-installed on your PC.

A game of Solitaire is played with 52 cards, with the main object being to free up your cards and fill in your Suit Stacks. To do this, you have to move cards and stacks according to the rules.

THE STACKS AT PATIENCE

The four empty spaces you will see at the top of your screen are for your Suit Stacks

. Here you will need to build four stacks of each suit (hearts, spades, diamonds, clubs) in an ascending order (1,2,3,4…), starting from your Ace. So, your heart stack should start with an Ace of hearts and finish with the King of hearts, and so on.

To do this, you would have to switch cards between your 7 Column Stacks, which have face-up cards, but also hidden cards below. You can also use the Play Deck, which is a deck of face-down cards found in your top-left corner. You can only reveal one card in your Play Deck at a time and then move that card in either your Suit or Column Stacks.

How to Stack Cards and Move Columns

To free your cards with Solitaire and put as many as you can in the Suit Columns, you would have to move them around according to the rules. Only a few are applied, which is one part of the game’s appeal:

  1. In your Suit Stacks you can only place cards in ascending order by the suit they are in. You can also take the top-most card of each stack and move it to the Column Stacks.
  2. In your Column Stacks, you have to place cards in a descending order (K, Q, J, 10…). However, the trick is that you have to alternate between red (Hearts, Diamonds) and black (Spades, Clubs) cards. So, a King of hearts or diamonds would have to be followed by a Queen of spades, or clubs, etc.
  3. You can also move several cards at once between your Column Stacks. You just pick the card and all cards stacked after it will move together to a new column.
  4. You can only move a Column Stack to an empty column space and only when your column starts with a King. You can also move King cards individually into empty column spaces.
  5. Face down cards can only be revealed one at a time. To reveal the next, you have to move the face-up card and then draw the next.

What’s the Catch?

Patience Klondike

Well, unlike free Patience Solitaire games that you play on your computer or smartphone, with casino patience the rules are slightly altered for real money play.

The most important change is that you can only go through your play deck once. So, once you reach the final card, you will have to finish the game with what you have in your Column and Suit Stacks. But the good thing is that you can still get to the previous card by pulling the one you see in your Play Deck.

Most variations also come with a minimum bet of $5-$5.50 with your payout depending on how many cards you have in the suit decks. For each card you stack in the Suit Deck, you will usually get $0.5 for a $5 bet, with the maximum being $26. There’s usually a pre-defined bet range as well.
